Blue Sky Thinking. (1) - The Seed
Early last month there was another of the 'hatch, match & despatch' gatherings where family from around the country met for a healthy walk in the open air on what turned out to be a gorgeous & unseasonably warm early spring day, followed by indulgence in the ancient and much revered practice of eating, drinking and merriment.
Throughout the day conversation ebbed & flowed over many subjects, with there being quite an interest in energy efficiency. Many UK energy suppliers had recently either increased or announced increases on their tariffs, so with some having recently moved house there seemed to be considerable interest in what we, and a few others had already done to reduce both our bills and carbon footprints.
Before too long, it struck me (yes, I know I'm slow!) that I'd been asked similar questions a number of times, somewhere along the lines of .... "You seem to understand what you're saying and make the arguments & solutions sound so simple; do you blog on this ?" .... at the time the answer of course was no, I don't blog, I don't have time to.
In reality I spend hours each week on various technical or community boards & forums (/fora) for some reason or other ....... am I simply becoming a technophobe?, a case of Neo-Luddism taking control ?
