Met Office - Sunshine Map - Annual 2016

The UK Met Office produce a set of analytics which include annual, quarterly & monthly maps representing total sunshine hours compared to a number of pre-defined period averages.

This map represents Sunshine Duration for 2016 as a %age of the 1961-1990 average.

This is particularly useful for owners of solar panels (PV & thermal) to help compare system performance relative to previous years or similar sites in another area.
