Met Office - Sunshine Map - Winter 2017 (Q1)

The UK Met Office produce a set of analytics which include annual, quarterly & monthly maps representing total sunshine hours compared to a number of pre-defined period averages.

This map represents Sunshine Duration for Winter 2017 (Q1/JFM) as a %age of the average for the the same period between 1961 and 1990.

This is particularly useful for owners of solar panels (PV & thermal) to help compare performance relative to previous years or similar sites in another area.
